Who is Archangel Michael?

Archangel Michael is referred to as St. Michael and his existence is mentioned in the Torah (Judaism), Bible (Christians), and Quran (Islam). They both view him as a deity with extraordinary power and responsibility. The ancient history of Chaldeans views Archangel Michael as a deity whom they revered because of fighting against forces of darkness to bring freedom to people's lives. This constant struggle made him rise to the position of more significant influence among other angels. He exists to help humanity in times of crisis when called upon in his area of operational boundaries.

Angel Michael works tirelessly in carrying out God’s will to fight evil forces of darkness on that earth to restore peace and harmony to humanity. Without the intervention of Archangel Michael, the human race is in a desperate state.

In addition, angel Michael is depicted with a sword in his hand or holding the scales of justice. The sword he holds has a blue flame. Angel Michael mostly shows up in blue rays. His armor and sword represent his Strength, courage, and protection, which he offers you freely if you desire.

Behold the Chief Prince!

Is Archangel Michael the Chief Prince? Yes, he leads battalions of heaven to war against Satan and his fallen angels. When Satan staged a battle against God in Heaven, it was Archangel Michael alongside other God’s angels that fought against Lucifer and his demons. The victorious war led by Michael saw Satan thrown down to earth.

For this reason, when you invoke the help of Archangel Michael he comes to your rescue, knowing that the earth is the dwelling place of Satan. When you encounter forces of darkness, God sends Angel Michael to come to your aid.  You cannot win the war against Satan when you are alone.

Archangel Michael – your protector.

He assures Christians of their safety since he is the Angel in charge of protection. In the scripture, God assured the Israelites of divine protection. Angel Michael is assumed to be the one who blocked Balaam’s donkey when Balaam was going to curse the Israelites. Besides the donkey, Balaam saw the Angel with a sword ready to strike.

Archangel Michael also delivers souls from the bondage of Satan. He contended with the devil over the body of Moses, a servant of God. He defeated Satan by rebuking him in the name of God. Although Archangel Michael is powerful, he let God's sovereign power prevail. This shows that He knows the limits within which he acts.

Interceding through Archangel Michael.

There are several aspects you should consider as you pray. These are important guidelines that will take you closer to your protector. These are the ground rules:

1. Your request should not be contrary to God's will, such as asking him to harm someone.

Anytime you reach out to him, it should be for the well-being of everyone else involved. If not, he will not assist you. Given, for example, he cannot fulfill your wish to kill someone because he is an angel who carries the weighing scale of justice. He had to stop Balaam when Balak asked him to curse the Israelites.

2. You need consent before interceding on somebody else’s behalf.

If you are interceding for someone else for whatever reason and you need the intervention of angel Michael, you must seek first the will of the person you are standing in that gap. Check if the person, too, needs the intervention of angel Michael. God never forces his will among the people, but only those who long after he finds him.

3. You need to restrict yourself to Archangel Michael’s jurisdiction.

When you knock at the wrong door, you will certainly not get whoever you were looking for. The same applies to invoking the powers of angel Michael; if you call on him in a situation that is not in agreement with his sphere of influence, he will not grant the request. God loves order and this rule ensures that Michael never steps out of his mandated tasks as per the powers given to him by God. 

For you to experience the help of Archangel Michael you should invoke His name only when you need protection, strength, and courage. When you call upon him in a situation that is not in His mandate, He will not help you. For example, if one needs prosperity, Archangel Michael will not come through for you because He is not the one in charge of wealth.

Connecting with the Archangel Michael.

1. Make an altar for Him.

You can do this probably in your home or where you consider as sacred. It should be a peaceful environment that you have dedicated to him. The specific place of stationing this altar depends entirely on your judgment. It will be an enabling environment for the easy flow of his presence just as God would meet with Moses on Mount Sinai. At the mountain, Moses would quickly meet with God because God had consecrated it to be so. This is also how your relationship with Archangel Michael ought to be.

2. Decorate your altar.

Images of angel Michael should be put on your altar accompanied by pictures of the Virgin Mary and crystals. His color code is blue. Whenever you kneel before the appearance of angel Michael to offer prayer, His presence quickly comes down.

Angel Michael pays attention to every request presented to him if you follow the guidelines. There is never a doubt when He speaks to you. You can involve somebody else in your prayers to the Archangel. They will help you remember your journey to strength with Him. This is a testimony of the Lord’s work in your life. His presence in your life is divine and He changes your life for the best. He drives away any fear you may have about anything and brings you closer to God’s divine will and protection. He is your pillar of strength when you are weak and a light of truth when you are lost.
